Climbing hands. The rips remind me of my hard work. They are also a reminder that when a wound first occurs the skin is thin and fragile, but with time the skin hardens; prepared for its next challenge. This too is true in life. Each hardship we suffer pains us greatly in the beginning. We feel broken, and for a little while we are unable to do tasks that we once found easy. As the wound begins to heal we can see how it makes us stronger, and gives us the ability to face what lies ahead.
